ABOUT US

Ng Chee Architects incorporated in Toronto, Canada, in 1993, with one clear aim: to practice all aspects of architectural and interior work in a studio setting that allows us to provide optimal service to each individual client.

The firm combines a focus on design excellence with a commitment to understanding our client's practical needs. We involve clients throughout the planning, design and construction process in order to achieve the highest standard of design in a timely and budget-conscious manner. This allows private sector clients to maximize investment return (while satisfying goals of creating inviting and workable spaces) or, in the case of the not-for-profit sectors, of best serving their own clientele.

Our partnership has the flexibility to offer clients a variety of services from a single resource network. We can serve our clients as a full-service project team incorporating practitioners, including planners and engineers, who are required to realize large projects. Alternately, we offer our clients more specific services, for example, functioning solely as a design team.

Full services are provided for projects of a diverse scope and nature:

  • Institutional projects, such as long-term care facilities, cultural centres, schools, churches and chapels, cemetery facilities and funeral homes, and courthouses.
  • Residential development, such as high-rise condominium residences, townhouses, retirement homes, and unique home renovations;
  • Commercial projects, including office towers, shopping malls, entertainment centres, retail plazas, banks, and specialty stores;
  • Unique and special use facilities, including ballet/opera theatre, casinos, and golf course clubhouses.

Ng Chee Architects holds a certificate of practice issued by the Ontario Association of Architects (OAA). The principals of the firm, Betty Chee and Robin Ng, are members in good standing of the OAA. Other affiliations include:

  • member of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (RAIC)
  • member of the Toronto Society of Architects (TSA)
