Newin Centre, Mississauga, Ontario

The site was only one acre (45,000 sf). But for this retail mall to be commercially viable, it required 30,000 sf of retail space plus an equal amount of parking. Our design solution featured a second level parking area above the retail floor, while at the same time creating the comfortable feeling of a two-story building. The second floor roof and elevations accomplished this, plus provided indoor parking which was accessed from the rear of the site.
