Stirling Heights, Cambridge, Ontario

Stirling Heights is located in Cambridge, Ontario. This is a brand new long term care facility of 110 beds. It has been completed and occupied since October of 2002.

The facility has four resident home areas (RHA) on two levels with a central service core containing the main kitchen and laundry facilities. Each RHA has the full complement of resident rooms, dining rooms, home kitchen area, activation spaces, outdoor garden or terrace, bathing units and nursing centre. Service from the main kitchen and laundry room is delivered with minimum intrusion to the residents in each RHA. In addition to the RHA's a central community area boasts a café, a gathering space with adjacent chapel, a beauty salon, a family visitation room, a volunteer centre and administrative offices.
